About the Authors

 

 

Amber K. Worthington is an Assistant Professor of  Communication at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

 

This open educational resource is a collaborative effort including content co-authored and/or written with my incredibly talented undergraduate and graduate students. Their information is provided below.

 

 

Georgia L. Burgess graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2021 with a B.S. in Health Sciences and a minor in Communication.

 

 

Mary J. Ryan is graduate student at Sacred Heart University. She graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2020 with a B.A. in Journalism and Public Communications and minors in Communication and Business Administration.

 

 

Kagen S. Silver is a senior at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He plans to graduate in fall 2021 with a Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management and a minor in Communication.

 

 

Alejandra Salazar is a junior at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She plans to graduate in spring of 2026 with a B.S. in Nursing and a minor in Communication.

 

 

 

Auston L. Vreeland is a junior at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He plans to graduate in fall 2023 with a B.S. in Health Sciences.
